Exercise and Depression
The Mental Health Foundation recommends that for people who have depression should exercise regularly. A lot of evidences have proven that exercise therapy is effective to treat depression. There is a need to do the following to raise the awareness of people about what exercise can do:
- Refer doing exercise therapy to treat moderate or mild cases of depression
- Raise people’s awareness that doing physical exercise could be the best, if not one of the most successful treatments to improve your mental well-being
- Raise people’s awareness about doing exercise and its importance in using and finding more effective treatments for depression
